MY STORY
Woodworking started out as a hobby for me but, it eventually replaced my career in the business world. I had become restless working at a desk job and needed to do something that would provide me a creative outlet. Enrolling in the Woodworking Program at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA, I learned from instructors with a wide variety of skills. The emphasis was on designing and creating one of a kind pieces of the highest quality. At the same time I was working at a kitchen cabinet shop building cabinets in a large production environment. While quality was stressed there as well, the designs were much more standardized to allow greater efficiency.
Both environments were good experience for my next job as a cabinetmaker in a custom furniture shop in Philadelphia. Over the next 11 years I built over a million dollars worth of residential and commercial furniture.
In late 2007, my wife took a new job and we moved to Wilmington, Delaware. I decided the time was right to start up my own shop. My furniture is built for utility and longevity but also to celebrate the beauty of the wood. Each piece also reflects the tastes of the person it is built for. I strive to make each piece a work of art that will command the attention of your guests.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
